When she hears on the radio that an NGO is pairing homeless refugees with those who have an available room, France decides to help. Through this, she meets a young Afghan refugee named Reza and, despite warnings from her friends and son, she welcomes him into her home and life. Inspired by the director's own experience, MYMOTHERLAND is a deeply personal film about two worlds that collide and come to a better place because of it.
