Welcome to OVID’s new “Author Selects” series, where we invite an author to select a film on OVID and explain why they think you should watch it.
In our inaugural edition, we welcome author and film scholar Adam Lowenstein to talk about Tracey Moffat’s incredible debut feature Bedevil. Adam Lowenstein is a professor of film studies at the University of Pittsburgh and is the director of “Horror Matters,” Pitt’s Horror Studies Working Group. His latest book, Horror Film and Otherness, is available from Columbia University Press.
