Directed by Ian Fordyce • Drama • With Tim Brooke-Taylor, Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Marty Feldman, Barry Cryer, Eric Idle, Aimi Macdonald, Mary Maude, Christine Rodgers, Frances Dean, Jacqueline Rochelle • 1967 • 25 minutes
One of the two shows contained in the archive passed to the BFI after the demise of Rediffusion, highlights include another solo turn from Tim as the one-man battalion, Graham as a government minister literally falling to pieces and a classic Marty template in which he plays an employee (engine driver Spriggs) being taken to task for an escalating series of misdemeanours, but it is the four-handed cops in drag sketch which most catches the eye and which the cast clearly enjoyed performing the most, playing tricks on each other and unable to contain their own laughter.
