The German actor, Franz Rogowski, stars in two great films, TRANSIT and IN THE AISLES. He first came to international attention in TRANSIT, Christian Petzold’s brilliant and haunting modern-day adaptation of Anna Seghers’s 1942 novel, with a performance the New York Times called "transfixing". In IN THE AISLES, Rogowski plays a man who takes a job working the night shift at a big box store. It is an affecting and bittersweet glimpse into the shared connections of a motley group of workers, which quietly celebrates the beauty in the day-to-day happenings at work.
