Robertina, one of Argentina’s most acclaimed actresses, only has one month left until the premiere of her career-defining one-woman play. Instead of preparing and rehearsing, however, she spends her days in a constant state of anxiety as she obsessively distracts herself from her professional responsibilities. From avoiding rehearsals to becoming involved in petty disagreements between her assistants to becoming convinced that someone is stalking her, Robertina slowly turns her world into a curious landscape of absurd phobias and domestic intrigues. When Robertina learns that her estranged friend in Denmark has fallen ill, she drops everything to go and take care of him. As the days tick down to her opening, Robertina must finally face what she has been avoiding all along: herself.
