Mike Ott
Mike Ott studied under Thom Andersen at Cal Arts where he received his MFA degree in Film/Video and started out directing music videos for such bands as Pretty Girls Make Graves, The Blood Brothers and The Cave Singers. Mike’s second feature, LITTLEROCK, won numerous awards, including the Audience Award at the 2010 AFI Fest, a Gotham Award and in 2011 he won an Independent Spirit Award. His next feature, PEARBLOSSOM HWY, premiered at the 2012 AFI Fest in the US and at the prestigious Viennale in Austria. These two films, plus LAKE LOS ANGELES make up the Antelope Valley Trilogy. He currently teaches film directing at the University of Southern California.
