This documentary series tells the story of intimate and tumultuous love stories in the context of art history. Each of the couples in this collection answer the same questions: is love compatible with creation? Can artists reveal themselves through romantic passion? Does love bring a renewed energy to art?
He was a pioneer of photo-journalism. Prepared to take huge risks for the right photo, he covered all the major conflicts of the 20th century. She was a talented young photographer, intrepid and ambitious, and one of the first female photo-journalists. Capa and Taro were the perfect combination of two politically active people, united by photography. It’s also the tale of unbridled love that did not withstand the ravages of war.
