The film traces how Radio Free Europe’s broadcasts — heard by parents and their children alike despite government jamming — became a source of truth and inspiration under Poland’s communist regime. For listeners, tuning into RFE was not just a way to hear uncensored news but a private form of protest and psychological resistance against totalitarian information control. By combining interviews, archival radio material, and the stories of those who both tuned in and tried to block the signal, Voice of Hope reveals how the airwaves became a frontline in the struggle for freedom and hope.
