Welcome to OVID’s “Author Selects” series, where we invite an author to select a film on OVID and explain why they think you should watch it.
In our fifth installment, we welcome Kyle Turner to discuss Arthur J. Bressan, Jr.'s Gay USA. Turner is a queer writer based in Brooklyn, NY. His writing on film, queerness, and culture has been featured in W Magazine, The Village Voice, Slate, GQ and the New York Times, and he is the author of The Queer Film Guide: 100 Films That Tell LGBTQIA+ Stories out now from Smith Street Books and Rizzoli. He is relieved to know that he is not a golem.
