Shahram Mokri
Born in Marand, Iran, Shahram Mokri is a graduate of Cinema from Tehran's Soureh College. His repertoire includes editing eight TV dramas, two TV series and more than 20 short and documentary films that brought him national and international recognition. Shahram's debut feature film, Ashkan, The Charmed Ring And Other Stories, had its international premiere at the Busan International Film Festival in 2009. His second feature film, Fish and Cat (2013), has been received with phenomenal success in Iranian cinema between 2013 and 2014, topping the box-office in Iran. It has also screened in more than 80 prestigious film festivals and collected 15 awards.
