Slick sketches this week but some especially slipshod Bonzo silliness – with Viv fluffing his gags. Eric Idle sits in for the missing Neil Innes – apparently off with the flu. Did he catch it from Michael Palin? David Jason continues his steady shift towards centre stage – taking on a wide range of roles with aplomb – and Captain Fantastic gets stranger and stranger, with this week’s splendid giant robot and a spot of teapot snatching in Surrey.
