Actress Virginie Efira got her start on Belgian television and eventually moved to the big screen by taking the role of Dr. Liz Wilson in the French version of "Garfield: The Movie" (2004). Soon she was starring in films including the romantic comedies "L'amour, c'est mieux à deux"(2010) and "La chance de ma vie" (2011). She was nominated for a Magritte for Best Supporting Actress and won an Audience Award for her role in the black comedy "Kill Me Please" (2010). She also appeared in the Isabelle Huppert vehicle "My Worst Nightmare" (2011).

Efira made the move to starring in dramatic films, including "Sibyl" (2019), "Just the Two of Us" (2023) and "Revoir Paris" (2024), all of which are streaming on OVID. IN 2023, she won her first César Award for Best Actress for her performance in Revoir Paris.
