Achal Mishra

Achal Mishra (b.1996) is a filmmaker and photographer from Darbhanga, Bihar.

His debut feature film Gamak Ghar (2019) premiered at the MAMI Mumbai Film Festival, where it won the Manish Acharya Award for New Voices in Indian Cinema. His medium-length film Dhuin (2022) won the Grand Prix at the Festival du cinéma de Brive. Both Gamak Ghar and Dhuin were shown at the Museum of Modern Art, New York in 2022. His latest, Chaar Phool Hain Aur Duniya Hai (2024), documents two afternoons with the Hindi writer Vinod Kumar Shukla.
