Fashion on Film

From charismatic portraits of iconic designers to exposés on the darker realities of the industry, these documentaries take unconventional approaches to the many-sided world of high fashion. Punk rock and high fashion collide in Westwood, a portrait of trend-setting designer and activist Vivienne Westwood. Dries draws viewers into the creative process and cerebral designs of Belgian fashion designer Dries Van Noten. Looking beyond the glamor, Picture Me presents an intimate look at the exploitative realities of the modeling industry, while The True Cost takes viewers around the globe to uncover the environmental and human rights consequences of the fashion industry.
